Digital governance
Dimitris Papastergiou
A business lunch on the digital governance agenda and Greek and Spanish technology cooperation.
Selected experience
A bilateral business institution connecting Greek and Spanish companies with public institutions, sector expertise and international networks. Its programme brings commercial priorities into direct dialogue with institutional leaders.

The experience
The Chamber connects business priorities in Greece and Spain with the institutions, expertise and relationships that can help move them forward. Our contribution brings programme development, institutional dialogue, international missions and communication into the same continuing collaboration.
We help facilitate business breakfasts, lunches, roundtables and meetings around a defined subject and the people who can contribute to it. The programme spans digital governance, investment, tourism, energy, education and economic policy. Preparation and relevant participation give each conversation its purpose.
That work extends to MWC Barcelona and business missions, alongside the Chamber’s involvement in technology conferences and cultural dialogue. Through Innovation Technology Alliance, our partner organisation which we operate, we also facilitate high level G2G meetings and institutional cooperation between Greece and Spain.
Scope of work
Business dialogue across digital governance, innovation, investment, economic policy, tourism, energy, taxation and education.
Focused business breakfasts, lunches, dinners and roundtables connecting Chamber members with institutional and sector priorities.
Support for MWC Barcelona in 2025 and 2026, the Madrid business mission in 2025 and institutional connections between the Greek and Spanish ecosystems.
Communication supporting the Chamber’s institutional presence and bilateral programme, alongside connections with SmartPress conferences, the LEA Festival and Instituto Cervantes.
The shared agenda
A business breakfast on digital governance and a discussion on tourism need different preparation. The common thread is a focused agenda that connects the Chamber’s members with relevant institutional and sector expertise.
Connect the subject with current business priorities.
Facilitate dialogue between businesses and relevant institutional representatives.
Support the Chamber’s public presence and the communication of its programme.
Beyond the meeting room
Our work includes support for the Chamber’s MWC presence in 2025 and 2026, connecting Greek and Spanish technology ecosystems through institutional outreach and international meetings.
The 2025 Madrid mission brought the same bilateral focus into a programme of institutional meetings and business dialogue. International missions and meetings sit within the wider relationship, rather than standing as isolated appearances.
An agenda that keeps developing
The Chamber’s participation in SmartPress forums brings its bilateral perspective into conversations about AI, skills, ESG and business change. The programme includes Total Digital Transformation & AI World, AI Connected World, Workforce Innovation and ESG Universe Forum.
Cultural exchange is another part of the relationship. With the LEA Festival and Instituto Cervantes, discussions on translation, AI and literary festivals connect language and culture with wider questions of professional practice and regional development. The selected programme below records these activities in their own context.
